Product Review: Smashbox Golden Hour Eye Palette

Hey Beauties and happy Friday to all of you!!! We made it to the end of the week!

I decided to review one of the newest palette out of the new “Cover Shots” collection by Smashbox!

Ok, so Smashbox is known for their primers and foundations in my opinion, but they’re really stepping there game up in the makeup game! They came out with some awesome lipsticks and now this awesome eye collection!

To make this awesome new collection, Smashbox paired with The gorgeous-Shay Mitchell!

This collection has 7 palettes in total and for only $29 you can’t go wrong! This particular palette (the golden hour) has 6 shimmery shadows and 2 Matte shadows!

Can we just admire this awesome packaging!!! Ugh it’s perfection!

When you tilt the packaging, this is how it looks! So cool right?!

I would definitely recommend this palette for women of any color. From fair to dark!

The names of these shadows definitely match them quite well!

…SWATCHES TIME!!!!!!

Pros:

  • Gorgeous shades
  • Silky shadows
  • Doesn’t stain the lid
  • Packaging is to die for
  • Price point is affordable
  • Travel friendly

Cons:

  • To get better pigmentation, use with primer
  • Only 2 colors out of this palette is Matte (definitely not for a non-shimmery wearer)

Hope you guys enjoyed this product Review! Let me know if you want me to do some looks with this palette!! Also, if you have this palette, let me know if you love it or hate it!

  1. I love the colours!! I’ve wanted to try smashbox for ages and am scared off by the price and whether or not it’ll be worth it… they’re animal friendly which makes me want too though. Thank you for the review x

      1. Yes (: ! Also, Ulta has a great point system with their rewards card. You get a point per every $1 you spend and when you get to 100 points, it’s equivalent to $3. I usually let my points rack up and use it for the expensive stuff 😉😉
