First off, I’d like to thank The Glitter Mirror for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger award!

I absolutely adore these recognition awards because it gives me a chance to learn about other bloggers and it allows other bloggers to learn about me!

  • Well, let me get to answering these questions:
  • What is your favorite subject to blog about?

I love blogging about makeup and anything that deals with beauty as it has always been one of my biggest passions.

  • What is your favorite brand of makeup?

My favorite brand of makeup has to be Tarte because of all the gorgeous packaging and great quality of makeup.

  • Where would you like to go for a week long vacation?

I’m not picky when it comes to this. I’d be ok going anywhere that is serene, but also has tons of exploring to do.

  • What is/was your favorite subject in school?

My favorite subject was math. It sounds crazy, but I love how it took a lot of brain work and problem solving.

  • What is your least favorite color?

That’s a hard one because I love all the colors! 😕

  • What is one makeup or beauty tip that you think that everyone should know about?

Less is more. Apply less product and add more if you need to. What season is your favorite?Summer is my favorite because you can wear colorful clothes and be creative with your makeup. What is one thing that you like to do to unwind after a long day?I love unwinding with a great skincare routine and a warm shower. It’s the best feeling ever after a long day! What movie do you LOVE the most?I love Adam Sandler movies because he’s hilarious. What movie do you HATE the most? Movies with sad endings suck! What is one difficulty that you have had to overcome when it comes to blogging? One difficulty I had to overcome was consistency with posting!<

y eleven questions are:

  1. What made you start blogging?
  2. What’s your favorite food?
  3. If you could choose one makeup product, what would it be?
  4. What’s your favorite Youtuber?
  5. Do you have any pets?
  6. What’s your favorite flower?
  7. Favorite holiday?
  8. If you could choose one super power what would it be?
  9. What’s the weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
  10. What month were you born and what’s your horoscope?
  11. What’s your favorite accessory?

I have so many bloggers on WordPress that I love so I can’t choose only eleven so whoever is reading this, I choose all of you to do this. (: I’d love to read them!

Thank you again The Glitter Mirror for nominating me to do this!! ❤️

March 2017 Favorites

Hey Beauties!!!!

Happy Friday! We made it to another weekend. Which is also the last day of the month. It flew by so fast. Today I’ll be sharing my favorites for the month of March!!

I have somewhat of a long list, but I included pictures just in case you wanted to find any of these products:

I’ve been loving Urban Decays Naked skin. Not only is it lightweight, but it also gives a decent amount of coverage. (I’m in the shade 7.0) I also love their matching powder because it’s travel friendly (:

”Tis the season of bronzy and glowing skin!!! NARS Latina bronzer gives warmth to my skin and adds a little shimmer for beautiful sun kissed skin 🌞

I’ve been loving peachy blushes this month, and this color looks absolutely stunning. There’s tons of product although the packaging is quite little. I also love the shimmer that it has.

I’ve been using this on the days where I’m more tired because it gives such a nice glow to the undereyes. Also, a little goes a long way!

Although I have oily skin, this has been my go to primer this month. It gives such a beautiful glow and the purple corrects dull skin. I’ve noticed changes in my skin due to lack of sleep, but this product works wonders 💜

If you haven’t purchased these palettes, you definitely need to! They are to die for. The pigmentation on both of these palettes are stunning. Also, the smell of the Tartiest pro to go palette is delicious!

For brows, I’ve been loving the Anastasia brow defined. It’s a lot thicker than the brow wiz, but I love it more because the brow wiz always breaks on me.

This has been my go to this month just because I need to try to finish all of my liquid liners. You have a lot of control when doing a wing, and it’s super black which I love.

These two mascaras are perfection. The Tarte lights, camera, lashes are perfect and it doesn’t irritate the eye which is a big plus. The benefit tinted primer is great as a primer, but is also great to set your brows with.

I didn’t add any lippy faves this month because I’ve been using different ones this month. My goal is to utilize all my makeup so it doesn’t just sit there and get old. So far I’ve been doing great!
Hope you guys enjoyed my monthly favorites. Let me know what your favorite product is this month (if you can only pick one) Also, let me know if you guys have tried any of these products listed above. ❤❤!

Product Review: Formula 10.0.6 Seriously shine free mattifying oil-free moisturizer

Hey Beauties and happy Wednesday❤!

Hope your week is going as great as mine! I don’t know about you guys, but I have some serious oily skin. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this product so I decided to give it a try for you guys!

It looks like this 👇🏽

The consistency as shown below reminds me of the smashbox photo finish primer and when you rub it into your skin it feels very refreshing and cooling to the skin! 👇🏽

This moisturizer has Aloe Leaf Juice as well as Bamboo Stem Extract. When it’s applied to the skin, it definitely soaks up very well and doesn’t leave your skin feeling or looking greasy.

The smell of this product definitely smells like bamboo and aloe.

Another great thing about this product is I’ve tried this moisturizer As a Primer and it worked soooo well! Definitely kept my makeup Matte all day!

Pros:

  • Very affordable
  • A little goes a long way
  • Keeps face Matte
  • Oil-free
  • Great for oily skin
  • Great for sensitive skin
  • Feels refreshing
  • Can be doubled as a primer

Cons:

  • If you don’t like the smell of bamboo or aloe, you probably won’t like the smell of this
  • Almost always sold out

Hope you lovelies enjoyed this quick product review! Also, I will also start bringing home decor posts on this blog. Maybe hauls, ideas, diy’s? You guys should let me know!! ❤❤❤

Product Review: Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara

Hey Beauties and Happy Sunday you guys! Hope you all are out enjoying this beautiful weather!! If you have a chance to stop in to get this mascara, I would recommend you guys to go for it!!!

It’s no other than Tartes light, camera, lashes! Now, Tarte offers the waterproof and one that’s not waterproof. This is the non-waterproof version! The waterproof version is “Lights, Camera, Splashes!” Cute right?!

You can find this for just around $20 or so.

Here’s the ingredients!

To top it off, its cruelty free. All of Tartes products are cruelty free as well which is a big plus.

Pros:

  • Cruelty free
  • Doesn’t clump
  • Doesn’t irritate the eye
  • Lasts for a while

Cons:

  • The packaging will look ugly after a while.

Hope you guys enjoyed this quick review! I absolutely missed posting for you guys! I’m finally gonna get back in the swing of things!!  As always, I love each and everyone of  you! 💜

Product Review: Smashbox Golden Hour Eye Palette

Hey Beauties and happy Friday to all of you!!! We made it to the end of the week!

I decided to review one of the newest palette out of the new “Cover Shots” collection by Smashbox!

Ok, so Smashbox is known for their primers and foundations in my opinion, but they’re really stepping there game up in the makeup game! They came out with some awesome lipsticks and now this awesome eye collection!

To make this awesome new collection, Smashbox paired with The gorgeous-Shay Mitchell!

This collection has 7 palettes in total and for only $29 you can’t go wrong! This particular palette (the golden hour) has 6 shimmery shadows and 2 Matte shadows!

Can we just admire this awesome packaging!!! Ugh it’s perfection!

When you tilt the packaging, this is how it looks! So cool right?!

I would definitely recommend this palette for women of any color. From fair to dark!

The names of these shadows definitely match them quite well!

…SWATCHES TIME!!!!!!

Pros:

  • Gorgeous shades
  • Silky shadows
  • Doesn’t stain the lid
  • Packaging is to die for
  • Price point is affordable
  • Travel friendly

Cons:

  • To get better pigmentation, use with primer
  • Only 2 colors out of this palette is Matte (definitely not for a non-shimmery wearer)

Hope you guys enjoyed this product Review! Let me know if you want me to do some looks with this palette!! Also, if you have this palette, let me know if you love it or hate it!

Product Review: Dermalogica Precleanse

Hey Beauties! Happy Monday to all of you!

As always, skin care is extremely important. I absolutely love this product because I do wear makeup on a daily basis. There’s no artificial colors, fragrances or parabens.

Basically, what you would do is take a pump or two of this and massage it on your face. Your face will look a little scary because you’ll have melted eyeliner and mascara all around your face lol. After you feel like you massaged it and your makeup is broken down, you take a little bit of water and massage this product in your face. It’ll create a small lather and you rinse it off with warm water.

After you finish this step, you want to use a mild cleanser and your face will feel so fresh.

Pros:

  • Smells awesome
  • Doesn’t leave skin dry or greasy
  • Doesn’t burn your eyes!!!!!!!!!!!
  • A little goes a long way
  • Melts all my makeup!

Cons:

  • Retails for $40 so definitely a little more pricey
  • Doesn’t lather (will take some getting used to)

Hope you guys enjoyed this quick review!!! My new post days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday!!!!! I figured that I have to be a little more organized when it comes to posting!! Let me know what your thoughts on this product are!!! ❤❤
