Our first Trader Joe’s trip!

Hey Beauties and Happy Wednesday! Hope you guys enjoyed your Valentine’s Day yesterday (:!

I know this isn’t my usual beauty related post, but I feel the need to share with you guys every new thing that I absolutely love!!

We took a visit to Trader Joe’s to get a few things that was recommended by you guys!! A lot of you said to try the Concentrated coffee, Mandarin Orange chicken and Cookie butter!!

I apologize for not getting a pic of the concentrated coffee!!

So, here goes the review!!

The Mandarin orange chicken was made for dinner twice this week already and it’s absolutely delicious!!! My husband and I enjoyed it, not to mention my daughter loved it as well! I served it with a side of rice and didn’t have leftovers(: ! The price was roughly $5.99 I believe! And it was super easy to prepare!

The Cookie Butter was absolutely delicious as well! It has a consistency of peanut butter but definitely tastes like a cookie (: ! I ate it by itself. Lol half of the jar is probably done by now (:! It’s a great snack for the little ones as well. I believe it was around $3.99 or so?

The Concentrated coffee Was pretty interesting because according to the label it has never been heated which was pretty neat! It tastes awesome! I usually add a little bit of milk and some Hershey’s chocolate syrup to the coffee and pour it over ice (: ! I believe this was around $6-7 not to sure!
Hope you guys enjoyed these new finds! Let me know what you absolutely love from Trader Joe’s! We ended up picking up Kung Pao chicken and it was sooooooo delicious as well!

Product Review: Smashbox Golden Hour Eye Palette

Hey Beauties and happy Friday to all of you!!! We made it to the end of the week!

I decided to review one of the newest palette out of the new “Cover Shots” collection by Smashbox!

Ok, so Smashbox is known for their primers and foundations in my opinion, but they’re really stepping there game up in the makeup game! They came out with some awesome lipsticks and now this awesome eye collection!

To make this awesome new collection, Smashbox paired with The gorgeous-Shay Mitchell!

This collection has 7 palettes in total and for only $29 you can’t go wrong! This particular palette (the golden hour) has 6 shimmery shadows and 2 Matte shadows!

Can we just admire this awesome packaging!!! Ugh it’s perfection!

When you tilt the packaging, this is how it looks! So cool right?!

I would definitely recommend this palette for women of any color. From fair to dark!

The names of these shadows definitely match them quite well!

…SWATCHES TIME!!!!!!

Pros:

  • Gorgeous shades
  • Silky shadows
  • Doesn’t stain the lid
  • Packaging is to die for
  • Price point is affordable
  • Travel friendly

Cons:

  • To get better pigmentation, use with primer
  • Only 2 colors out of this palette is Matte (definitely not for a non-shimmery wearer)

Hope you guys enjoyed this product Review! Let me know if you want me to do some looks with this palette!! Also, if you have this palette, let me know if you love it or hate it!

Product Review: Dermalogica Precleanse

Hey Beauties! Happy Monday to all of you!

As always, skin care is extremely important. I absolutely love this product because I do wear makeup on a daily basis. There’s no artificial colors, fragrances or parabens.

Basically, what you would do is take a pump or two of this and massage it on your face. Your face will look a little scary because you’ll have melted eyeliner and mascara all around your face lol. After you feel like you massaged it and your makeup is broken down, you take a little bit of water and massage this product in your face. It’ll create a small lather and you rinse it off with warm water.

After you finish this step, you want to use a mild cleanser and your face will feel so fresh.

Pros:

  • Smells awesome
  • Doesn’t leave skin dry or greasy
  • Doesn’t burn your eyes!!!!!!!!!!!
  • A little goes a long way
  • Melts all my makeup!

Cons:

  • Retails for $40 so definitely a little more pricey
  • Doesn’t lather (will take some getting used to)

Hope you guys enjoyed this quick review!!! My new post days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday!!!!! I figured that I have to be a little more organized when it comes to posting!! Let me know what your thoughts on this product are!!! ❤❤

How my blog started:

I always knew I wanted to start a blog because it lets out my creative side. I have a passion for makeup and traveling and I felt the need to share it. I know there are tons of individuals out there like me and I think it’s great to share passions!

2 pieces of advice to new bloggers:

I’m a new blogger myself so from a new blogger to another new blogger… my advice would be to stay true to yourself. A lot of times we second guess what we say because we’re to worried about what others think. Well, just to put it out there.. everyone will judge you ok everything you do. It’s not easy being judged, but over time it gets easier.

Another piece of advice to you guys is to interact with fellow bloggers. Don’t think you’re better then someone else. Let’s support each other so we can help each other grow!

To all those that read it this far! I’d like to give this award to all of you!!!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post!! Let me know what your advice to anyone that blogs is!

Product Review: Palladio edition

Hey Beauties! Happy Thursday. We’re almost done with this week! ❤

I picked up some lip products from this brand named “Palladio” and I had to share this with all of you!!

The first 3 lip products are lip plumping. They are pretty share, but buildable.

The wear on these are not long at all. You’d definitely need to reapply a lot throughout the day. As far as the plumping part, the tingly feeling is very subtle and this gloss is not sticky feeling at all. I also like the brush because it applies the gloss even and well.

Left to Right: Fireworks, Pearly Pink, Acai ya later, Sangria and Sorbet

Fireworks: Beautiful red gloss with orangey undertones. A little shimmer, but not much.

Pearly Pink: It isn’t really on the pink side, more of a nude color.

Acai-Ya Later: Beautiful deep plummy color and little bit of glitter in it.

Sangria: This is a tinted lip balm. It has a beautiful sheer tint of red.

(Last swatch)

This next lip product is “Butter Me Up!” It’s a sheer color balm. This product has a beautiful orangey tint. It’s really like a sorbet.

(Second to last tint)

I hope all of you enjoyed this review on these lip products. Let me know which one is your favorite.

Product Review & Swatches: ABH Modern Rennaissance Palette

Hey Beauties! Hope you all had an amazing Saturday!

I’m so guilty of not reviewing this palette as soon as I got it! I really just couldn’t wait to start playing in it! I’ve been absolutely loving this palette and I have been using it everyday! I haven’t had a palette that I’ve loved this much yet! I highly encourage all of you guys to get it.

This Palette retails for $42 and the colors are absolutely gorgeous. There’s a mixture of Matte and shimmery shades. It’s great for any skin tone and the pigmentation and color pay off is phenomenal! Ok, let’s get into the swatches!!

The packaging is a beautiful color and it’s velvety. One downside to this packaging is that it will get dirty fast, but it was pretty while it lasted :/

Once again, I apologize for just diving straight into the palette without reviewing it! 🙊

Here’s a closeup of the First set of shades

Here’s a closeup of the second set of shades

Here’s a swatch of the first row!

The bottom to the top is basically the left to right of the first row!

Here’s swatches from the second row

Once again, the bottom to the top is basically the left to the right.
Hope you guys enjoyed this post and if you do pick this up, let me know how you’ve been liking it! This is one of the few palettes that I’d actually make use of all the colors and that’s very rear for me to find! Lol
